Steve Garlick (Astor) had a competitive game against Garry Reed, managing to block Reed's powerful spin loop, however was unable to close out the 4th end losing it 15-17. Astor's Tony Maestri also came back well to take the 3rd end against Reed, having gone two games down, but the Molyneux player started to read Maestri's service and took the 4th end 11-9. Molyneux's Tony Sweet managed a clean sweep without dropping a game all night.
